BELLEVUE -- The Edmonds College men's basketball team continues to roll. On Sunday they held off the Bulldogs charge, 80-73, and captured the North Region title for the first time since 2015. It's the team's eighth win in a row. The current winning streak started at home when they beat Bellevue back on January 27. The loss eliminated the Bulldogs from playoff contention.
Chris Lee had 17 points, Naser Motley scored 15 (11 in the second half), and Josiah Pierre added 13 points and 9 rebounds. Shiloh Zevenbergen and Trevon Hamilton chipped in 9 points apiece, and Adonai Daniel contributed 7 points.
The final game of the regular season is Wednesday night in Seaview Gym. All sophomores will be honored prior to the 7 p.m. tipoff.
