PASCO -- Edmonds volleyball dropped a 3-1 contest at Columbia Basin on Tuesday night in Pasco. The team raced to a 25-15 first set triumph, but fell in three consecutive sets after. The player of the match was Saydee Heslop. The freshman tallied 18 kills for a .278 hitting percentage. Edmonds lost to CBC at Everett CC on August 24 in straight sets. The Hawks were ranked No. 5 in the NWAC Preseason Poll and improved their record to 8-2. The Tritons dropped to 7-6 on the year and will look to snap a three-game skid on Wednesday when they continue their road trip to Ontraio, OR. First serve at Treasure Valley (6-2) is set for 6 pm MST (5pm PST).
After the stop in Ontario, the team will continue on Twin Falls, ID to particiapte in the Starr Corporation Invite, hosted by the College of Southern Idaho. They will play two matches on Friday and Saturday.
