BREMERTON -- Edmonds women's hoops exploded out of the gates and were in control from tip to finish in a 63-36 victory at Olympic on January 31. The Tritons held a 25-4 advantage after the first quarter behind Dreanna Jackson's 10 points. Jackson finished with a season-high 18 points.
Jada Walters registered her third double-double of the season with 19 points and 12 rebounds. Natalie Brown continues to be a beast on the boards, tallying 13 rebounds. Brown is averaging 9 rebounds per game, good for sixth best in the conference.
Edmonds (12-6) hits the midway point of North Region play on a five-game win streak, second in the standings, and holds a 6-1 record. Snohomish County rival Everett visits Seaview Gym on Wednesday, February 7 at 5 p.m.
