Edmonds women rout Northwest Indian College

LYNNWOOD -- The Edmonds College women's basketball team made it look easy on Thursday night in Seaview Gym, routing Northwest Indian College 88-27 in their final tuneup before region play. The Tritons took a commanding 15-3 lead after the first quarter, forced 26 turnovers in the contest, and didn't look back.

Keira Slippern had the hot hand scoring 22 points and nailing five treys, and Natalie Brown recorded a double-double with 17 points and 19 boards. Alexa Munoz and Jada Walters added 10 points each.

Edmonds (6-5) opens the North Region slate next Wednesday, January 10th at rival Everett CC.
