LONGVIEW -- Edmonds women's basketball built an early lead over Mount Hood and controlled the contest the rest of the way to defeat the Saints 76-53. The Tritons outrebouned the Saints 49-27 and led from tip to finish.
Natalie Brown scored 10 points and grabbed 12 boards in the win. Keira Slippern scored 14 and Jada Walters 12; Mylina Pluff and Briasa Johnson each contributed 11 points off the bench.
Edmonds lost to host Lower Columbia on Friday and faces top-ranked Columbia Basin on Saturday to close out the weekend.
