LAKEWOOD -- The EC women's basketball team cruised to an 80-36 win over Wenatchee Valley College on Friday, thanks to 24 team steals. The win opened up a three-game stay at the Raider Holiday Classic. The Tritons (3-1) outscored the Knights in each period, led by 19 points, 8 boards, and 4 blocks from Jada Walters. Mylina Pluff had a terrific game with 14 points and 10 boards. Briasia Johnson added 12 points, 6 assists, and 5 steals in the EC win. Keira Slippern came off the bench to add 10 points, 7 boards, and 4 steals.
The Tritons return to the court at Pierce College on Saturday, taking on Lane College. Tip-off is at noon.
