Edmonds takes care of Olympic, sets sights on Championship Tourney

BREMERTON -- Right from tipoff the Tritons asserted their dominance as they opened the game with a 30-4 run. Edmonds put away Olympic with ease on Wednesday night and ended the regular season with a road victory. The lead pushed to 34 at one point as the Tritons held large advantages in shooting percentage, in the paint, and on the boards.  

Orion (OJ) Dybdahl recorded his third straight double-digit scoring effort (16 points); Sam Lockhart and Solomon Barnes provided a lift off the bench with 11 points apiece. In just over a week Edmonds will open the NWAC Championship Tournament as the No. 3-seed from the North Region. They will face the South Puget Sound Clippers, No. 2-seed from the West. That game will take place on Saturday, March 8 at 10am in Pasco, Wash. at Columbia Basin College.
