LYNNWOOD -- The Bellevue Bulldogs drew a foul under the rim with less than one second left and hit a free throw to prevail 66-65 over Edmonds on Saturday.
The home finale went back-and-forth -- the score was tied 14 times and there were 17 lead changes. EC outscored BC in the paint 34-16, but the Bulldog bench provided a lift with 30 points total. Trailing by eight points with just over three minutes left, the Tritons put together an 8-0 run to even the score at 65-65.
Josiah Pierre led Edmonds with 17 points and 7 rebounds and Naser Motley contributed 12 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 assists.
Edmonds (18-10, 8-5 North) closes out the regular season at Olympic College on Wednesday, February 26. With a win, they will secure the No. 3-seed from the region in the NWAC Championship Tournament.
