OREGON CITY -- Edmonds men's hoops was victorious in their first game at the Clackamas Holiday Tournament, topping Linn-Benton 86-84. Over the final two minutes and 13 seconds the Tritons defense came up with four consecutive defensive stops to seal the win.
Adonai Daniel filled the stat sheet with a well-rounded effort -- the freshman guard scored 15 points, grabbed 6 rebounds, dished out 4 assists, and swiped 3 steals. Jack Sims (14), Josiah Pierre (13), and Shiloh Zevenbergen (10) each reached double figures, and Nuer Bol contributed 8 points and 9 rebounds in 17 minutes of work off the bench. Edmonds was able to withstand three 20-point performances by the Roadrunners' Cade Smith, TJ Zimmerman, and Liam Spencer.
