Women's Soccer adds home scrimmage Sept. 4

LYNNWOOD -- The Edmonds College women's soccer program has added a home scrimmage on Wednesday, September 4 against Tacoma CC. First kick is scheduled for 11:30 am at Triton Field. No admission is charged for scrimmage matches.

The ladies opened the season on August 20 at Starfire Sports with a 3-1 win over Wenatchee Valley. Freshmen Gizelle Serrano and Philicidy Lee tallied unassisted goals, the first of their collegiate careers. They finished the NWAC Friendlies the next day, dropping a 5-2 match to Highline. Lee netted her second goal of the season in the loss.

On August 28 they fell to Pierce 5-0 in Puyallup. North Region action starts September 11 at Bellevue College.
