Ecklund named as NWAC Hitter of the Week

Kaden Ecklund has been recognized for his outstanding start to the 2026 season. The sophomore was chosen as the NWAC Hitter of the Week by the conference after his 8-for-12 performance in the Tritons' recent series win over Tacoma.

Ecklund leads the NWAC with 6 home runs, is third overall in batting average (.417), and fourth in RBI (20). His .875 slugging percentage is tops in the NWAC and his on base percentage (.576) is second-best. The outfielder/first baseman prepped at South Kitsap High School.
