Logan Blank Selected as NWAC Hitter of the Week
VANCOUVER -- The Northwest Athletic Conference selected sophomore outfielder Logan Blank as the NWAC baseball Hitter of the Week after a monster series against the Skagit Valley Cardinals. Blank was 11-for-18 (.611) overall, recording two doubles, three RBI, and scored five runs. He also added two stolen bases.
Blank, who prepped at Newport High School in Bellevue, is batting .324 on the year. The lefty swinger has taken off in North Region games where his average (.484) and on-base percentage (.529) are second-best on the squad.
Edmonds has three region weekend series remaining which will determine the team's postseason fate.
